Margie and Olivero Flores Get Married-A San Antonio Wedding Event

Remember my friends Anne and Bob Hilmo from college...who asked us to be their only daughter's wedding photographers?! That's right! It's time to see some of the wedding highlights from that AWESOME day. As far as wedding days go, this one was a breeze! The weather cooperated, the bride was excited, the groom was over the moon in love with his bride, the cake tasted awesome and the church and the venue were FABULOUS. Olivero and Margie met during law school...I don't know all the details but needless to say they are absolutely the cutest together. Margie moved back to Texas after finishing high school and college in Colorado. In one of our conversations she mentioned she moved back to Texas because she HATES the cold but loves the supremely wonderful Texas weather. Margie, I hate to break it to you but it gets downright hot here in Texas and San Antonio is no exception! But I guess if I lived a couple of blocks off the Riverwalk, I wouldn't mind so much either.

Margie and Olivero picked the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic Church because her maternal grandfather Joe Tillotson went to Catholic School there when he was growing up. The church was exquisite and was built during the Great Depression. The reception was held at Magnolia Halle on Huebner Road in San Antonio and is right next door to their famous Pancake House. In fact, later in the evening before everyone left, they served some scrumptious pancakes for their guests.

The wedding was extremely sentimental with lots of people sharing stories about Margie and Olivero and the family and friends toasted to their newly wed status and wished them good health and happiness. Here's a special blessing for you both, Margie and Olivero from Robert and I.

"May the blessings of light be upon you, Light without and light within. And in all your comings and goings, May you ever have a kindly greeting, From them you meet along the road."
