About Kathy & Robert

As many of you know, for the last year, k. Norwood Portraiture and Fig-Mint Photography have shared a studio, but we have decided to take the next step.

As of January 1, k. Norwood Portraiture will be coming under the Fig-Mint Photography umbrella! After searching my heart long and hard about what I wanted to do with my business, I came to the decision that I would be happiest working under another photographer as an Associate Photographer and I can still do the things I love best...working with AWESOME clients and creating portraits for our shared clientele.

For those of you who have been loyal k. Norwood Portraiture clients, don't worry! You can still request that I shoot your images! Moving forward, all scheduling, consultations, and ordering will be streamlined with Fig-Mint Photography.

I am so excited to be able to serve the Brazos Valley with top notch service experience and 2 PPA Certified Professional, Photographic Craftsman Photographers!!

(And very soon, we will be able to announce another big accomplishment that I am extremely proud of but can't do so until after January 21st) Look forward to upcoming details.

In the  meantime, if you are interested in scheduling a family portrait session, needing professional headshots or are wanting to have a commissioned painting done of your family or pet, please go to this link to schedule your appointment. Fig-Mint Photography

We have been in business for almost 13 years and in 2009 I passed my Professional Photographers certification test and image submission. This is quite an honor because only 3% of working photographers have done so. I am a proud member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA), and Texas Professional Photographers Association (TPPA),  and have served as the President of our local Brazos Valley Professional Photographers Association guild for two years, and also as Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. (Yep, I stay pretty busy)

At the beginning of 2017, I received my Photographic Craftsman degree and should receive my Master Photography degree this January of 2019 from our professional organization...PPA. Robert received his Photographic Craftsman degree in January of 2018 in Nashville, TN at Imaging USA. We are pretty excited about his accomplishment.
